About this position

Weir Minerals is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution and completion of various projects, with a focus on delivering projects to scope, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage different complexity and risk concurrent projects involving established protocols.
• Ensure superior quality product is delivered to customers on time and on budget.
• Responsible for actively managing the Revenue Recognition, Invoicing and Gross Margin expectation for each project.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules encapsulating manufacturing, purchasing and documentation progress.
• Ensure adequate and consistent project status and progress reporting.
• Identify issues and constraints, evaluate alternatives, make recommendations and implement solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or Supply Chain preferred and +5 years of experience in heavy Engineering environment and Project Management.
• Exposure and experience with contract/project management within the capital equipment – manufacturing field is highly advantageous.
• Minimum 1 years of relevant SAP experience.
• Exposure to industrial/slurry pump packages and hydrotransport solutions, automated classification units and crashing plants is considered an asset.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to lead, motivate and build teams.
