About this position

This position involves reviewing and monitoring project profitability and analyzing variances between actual and budgeted revenue costs.

Responsibilities

• Handle project accounting transactions such as billing, revenue recognition and credit/debit note adjustment
• Check pending transaction before closing project such as pending PO and requisition, inventory on hand
• Handle month-end closing of Accounts receivable and Project accounting modules
• Prepare monthly closing journals on Pre-mat, revenue, and cost accruals, PMR, Inter BU reclassification, remaining WIP on closed projects, FX adjustment, and prepare file for Negative WIP adjustment.
• Prepare reconciliation and analysis on Balance Sheet accounts i.e. AR Trade, Unbilled Projects, Unbilled Intercompany, Unearned Project Revenue, Customer Advances, WIP.
• Review and Prepare monthly reports for projects which included in GP Report
• Prepare proposed project closing report
• Prepare PTMA report and submit to Project team / related person per request and monthly basis.
• Update monthly reconcile report and upload to Blackline and join BS monthly meeting
• Gather&validate data and prepare forecasted PMR report.
• Monitoring and analysis on Project GP flux/Variance and point out to Project lead /stakeholders.
• Maintain fair market value (FMV) in OPF workflow of project created from Sep 2020 value more than 250K USD
• Coordinate with various teams for revenue and/or cost budget adjustments and do manual update of revenue and cost budgets and reverse/transact revenue to correct COS accruals in Oracle if necessary.
• Coordinate with COP, project and other Finance teams (AP, FR) to adjust transactions wrongly tagged or not tagged to projects, such as PPV, invalid future costs, etc.;

Requirements

• Bachelor of Finance/Accountancy or related field
• 3 years’ experience in AR or project accounting
• Proficient in MS Office Excel
• Familiar with ERP systems especially in Oracle
• Good communication skills in local and English language
