About this position

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive business decisions. This position reports to the Director of Data Analytics and collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. The Data Analyst will also be involved in designing and implementing data models and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Developing and implementing data collection systems and strategies to optimize data quality and accuracy.
• Creating and maintaining databases and data systems to support data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Designing and executing data experiments and statistical models to answer business questions and solve problems.
• Presenting data findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Developing and automating data reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency through data analysis.
• Conducting ad-hoc data analysis and providing actionable recommendations to drive business growth.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and data management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems
