Category Management Manager (Trade Marketing)
About this position
The Category Management Manager (Trade Marketing) is responsible for developing category strategies to drive sales, profit, and market share.
Responsibilities
• Mainly focus on category development and investment strategy in order to drive sales, profit, market share and business objectives
• Utilize consumer, shopper and market insights to develop category strategy and direction as well as identify growth opportunities, aligned with the company's business objectives
• Support NPD business case including pricing, trade investment and promotion guideline
• Develop pack/price role and strategy, promotion pack initiative and packsize portfolio
• Develop pricing strategy, route-to-market price and price control guideline
• Develop promotion strategy, promotion guideline and promotion evaluation to recommend and influence channel management and sales team for promotion planning by channel/account
• Identify channel and packsize prioritization and mix management to drive more profit
• Manage trade and promotion investment strategy including budget allocation and suggestion to ensure sales growth, profit and ROI
• Initiate and manage category management project to drive the category agenda
• Ensure the delivery of CBU targets and foster collaboration among various functions: Channel management, PSM, Sales, Finance, and Marketing
• Category volume, sales, profit and market share
Requirements
• Master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of working experiences in trade marketing/ category management in FMCG industry
• Strong data analytical and presentation skill
• Strong trade marketing and commercial finance analysis
• Proactive in problem solving
• Experience in pricing and promotion strategy
• Excellent in Thai and English
