Material Management Officer (BOI)
About this position
The Material Management Officer position requires understanding of customs privileges, ability to read Engineering Drawings, and managing personnel effectively.
Responsibilities
• Understand the requirement of law/regulation related to customs privileges such as bonded warehouse, Free Zone, and BOI. • Obtain the materials reconciliation report of each discipline. • Be able to read the Engineering Drawings. • Obtain the customs formula to identify the materials in / out under the bonded warehouse. • Keep your own personnel regularly informed of the company's activities and seek such information. • Give own personnel updated job descriptions when necessary which clearly define their areas of responsibility and check that their responsibilities are being discharged. • Establish and keep own personnel informed of developments and goals. • Ensure that responsibility for personnel is discharged in accordance with the company's management principles. • Advise the personnel under supervision on how to handle complaint and conflict. • Provide criticism, but also provide recognition when work has been executed in a good manner. • Provide own personnel's work criticism or personnel circumstances in a relevant, positive form and must not be given in the presence of others. • Reports to superior on work status and anticipates critical activities that might have an effect on project/job execution.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related. • 1 - 3 years experience work in warehouse management, bill of quantity for manufacturing, and material reconciliation for the production formula. • BOI experience is a must. • Material stock management Record. • Computer skills in Microsoft software, SAP MM module. • Interpersonal skill. • Sense of emergency. • Good communication skills in English -: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. • Can start working immediately is advantage.
