The Project Manager (Material Handling - Food Processing) at Huneety headhunting services will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of material handling projects within the food processing industry. This role will report directly to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, knowledge of material handling systems, and experience in the food processing industry.
• Gather technical and commercial information from Sales Team to support project development.
• Conduct kick-off meetings with clients to clarify project scope and prepare technical equipment specifications.
• Create drawings using AutoCAD for P&ID and layouts.
• Develop project schedules and monitor delivery of bought-out items, detailed drawings, and manufacturing progress.
• Assist in preparing functional descriptions for automation engineers based on Process functionality.
• Collaborate with design team to review key equipment design for cost-effectiveness and safety in food industry installations.
• Maintain organized project folder with updated data on server.
• Communicate relevant information to on-site installation and commissioning leader.
• Participate in commissioning phase, engage in technical discussions with customers, and record process parameters and test results.
• Support client during initial production runs, issue punch list, and ensure completion of all remedial actions.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Engineering including commissioning experience.
• University degree in Process or mechanical Engineering, Food/Chemistry Technology or equivalent.
• Well organized in work.
• Problem-solving skill and pragmatic approach.
• Professional spoken and written Thai and English.
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Be able to be multitasks and work in stressful situations.
• Process Engineering knowledge and awareness of details to be able to handle technical discussions with clients and suppliers and identify when technical problems require additional support.
