Procurement Manager (English Speaking)
About this position
The Procurement Manager will oversee and manage the procurement process within an organization, supporting corporate future goals and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the buyer team (both engineering and general procurement), providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
• Oversee the entire procurement schedule and process from requisition to delivery, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors, conducting negotiations to secure advantageous terms.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve favorable agreements.
• Collaborate with relevant construction sites and projects as well as internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operations to resolve issues of procured goods and services.
Requirements
• At least a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related fields
• At least 5-7 years of experience in major equipment and/or construction materials procurement preferably in a construction or EPC environment (over 3 years in leading team)
• In-depth knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices
• Familiarity with ERP, procurement software, and tools.
• Good command of English Proficiency (Listening, Speaking, and Writing) is a must
