About this position

The Customs Specialist position at Lucy Electric (Thailand) Ltd is responsible for Free Zone, LVA, Customs, and Import-Export operations.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Local content and RVC application
• Execute customs, Sales, Engineer, SCM, Warehouse, Shipping to meet customer requirement
• Manage Customs clearance Domestic sales- Type P, C, D
• MIT – Preparing BOM information and online submission
• RVC Application- Preparing BOM information and online submission
• Outsource management- Get master proposal approval and control daily application
• Scrap management
• Inventory management – Stock aging, Inventory balance, Inventory movement, Fixed Asset
• Deal with brokers to process customs clearance
• Post review; Declaration amendment, KSK.122 Retroactive
• Quick response to all relevant on matters linked to customs, Free Zone
• Communicate and deal with external government Departments e.g. Customs, Department of Foreign Trade, MIT etc
• Understand Thai local regulatory well including Free Zone, BOI, FTA, customs regulatory and other related government department
• Any other tasks that will be assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business, Management, or a related field
• Experience 5-7 years in Free Zone, Customs, and Import-Export operations
• Certificate of customs broker, customs specialist preferred
• Strong experience in local content operations preferred
• Strong knowledge and experience in customs and international trade regulations
• Good command of written & spoken English and computer literacy
• Good command of written & spoken Thai
• Microsoft office - Word, excel Sum, If, VLOOKUP, Pivot, Power Point
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with customs
• Understanding of customs compliance and trade compliance regulations
• Ability to work with details under pressure and deadlines
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
