Senior Manager - Regional Sales Management

Makro has continuously expands our branches to provide a wide range and assortment of product, to our professional members and business operators nationwide, including retailers, restaurants, catering businesses, service business operators, government agencies, education institutions and other business operators.

About this position

Senior Regional sales managers oversee portfolio sales and control the budget for all stores. They ensure that each region’s sales management goals are achieved by evaluating the work done by Regional salesforce managers, analyzing sales trends, and leading the sales team with a sales strategy that aligns with the company strategy. They work together with Area managers - operation to ensure that store operation and sales team have the same goals and achieve them.

Responsibilities

• Setting sales targets to be achieved and aligning them with company sales targets
• Analyzing the market to develop the sales strategy
• Monitoring the performance of the sales team, both sales and margin, and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets
• Working closely with Area Manager – Operation to align operation goals
• Working closely with the commercial team to ensure competitive pricing and gain sales and market share
• Maximizing growth potential of stores within the region
• Preparing budgets and collecting customer feedback as well as market research

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in Sales, Key account, or any related field
• At least 5 – 8 years in a managerial level
• Experience in managing sales teams of at least 100 stores
• In-depth sales experience in a B2B Grocery Retail organization
• Demonstrated ability to lead a B2B sales team and consistently hit sales targets
• Excellent analyst skills, especially in market trends, consumer behavior, and strategy
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work under stress and resolve conflict
• Sound organizational skills
• The ability to motivate staff and lead a team
