About this position

We are looking for a passionate Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to help with software testing and provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

Responsibilities

• Devise and execute Software Tests, both manual and automated, to ensure business and software requirements are met (e.g. Functional UI/API testing, Acceptance testing, Regression testing, Black Box Testing)
• Collaborate closely with other functions, ranging from Software Developers to Data Scientists to Project Managers
• Research new tools, frameworks and processes to improve both efficiency and quality of our internal testing
• Perform technical coaching for other QA engineers, supporting them in their daily responsibilities, helping them to achieve their technical development goals and improve their technical skills
• While this is a primarily technical role, there is potential to also perform people management duties, if desired

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, or in a similar role
• General knowledge of web-based applications, software development and the SDLC
• Experience in both manual and automated testing, including writing/designing, developing and executing test cases
• Knowledge of Robot Framework, REST APIs, CI/CD, and a modern programming language
• A passion for software testing and a drive to continuously improve methodologies
