About this position

The Airfreight Manager will oversee all airfreight operations, coordinating shipments and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role offers the opportunity to work with a team to optimize efficiency and meet company goals. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of airfreight regulations are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement import/export strategies to meet company goals and objectives
• Manage all aspects of importing and exporting goods, including customs regulations, documentation, and logistics
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers to ensure competitive pricing and terms
• Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
• Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing international trade
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, shipping companies, and customs brokers
• Oversee the preparation of shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Resolve any issues or disputes related to import/export activities in a timely and efficient manner
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of import/export operations and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Experience in management Logistics or Freight Forwarder.
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Well developed communication, leadership, people, and problem solving skills.
• Customer focused/Solution oriented.
• Ability to demonstrate fresh thinking and creativity
• Compose & work well under tight deadlines, schedules, and pressure.
• Enjoy building & developing relationship with both prospects and customers.
• With own car and valid driving license.
