We provide services to Korean creators, including influencers and YouTubers, offering global marketing strategies to facilitate their international expansion through diverse video content. Our vision for 2024 is to broaden our expertise beyond the entertainment sector to encompass industries such as gaming, consumer goods, software, cryptocurrency, and more.
We are currently seeking a creative and strategic Viral Video Planner to join our team and help us create videos with the potential to go viral on social media. The team you will join focuses on increasing audience engagement to support the growth of creators. You will work closely with promising video editors and receive additional marketing support to enhance your video projects. You will have the opportunity to see how your suggested strategies and storyboards perform on social media platforms, gaining visible insights from practical data.
Our team is currently focused on boosting views and subscribers for major Korean YouTubers, and we need a planner who can create video content with viral potential and has a deep understanding of Korean culture.
Our work environment is entirely remote, enabling seamless communication and collaboration with individuals worldwide. We are dedicated to fostering your growth and expertise in the field. Through remote work on a global scale, you will develop the skills necessary to manage projects independently, collaborate effectively with diverse teams and clients, and achieve exceptional performance.

Hiring Process:
1. Application Submission(1 week):
Submit your information regarding, resume, a portfolio of previous work, and a brief description of their experience with viral video planning . Please note that the assignment provided via email after application submission will carry greater weight in the evaluation process than the resume.
2. Assignment(1 week):
Selected candidates will be given an assignment via email to test their ability to create a viral video concept and plan to complete the assignment.
3. Interview(1 week):
Candidates with the most promising assignments will be invited for an online 1:1 interview with the direct manager of the team. The interview schedule and details will be communicated via email.
4. Final Decision:
Finalists will receive an employment offer to work with us as a Viral Video Planner

Responsibilities

Job Description:
As a Viral Video Planner, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing short video content strategies aimed at achieving viral success. You will work closely with our video production team to develop ideas that are innovative, engaging, and aligned with current social media trends.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute video content strategies with the goal of creating viral videos.
- Ensuring consistency of brand voice, style and tone across all content.
- Conduct research to identify trends, challenges, and popular content on social media platforms.
- Collaborate with video editors, designers, and other creatives to produce high-quality video content.
- Analyze the performance of video content and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and reach.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

The key aspect of this role is having a keen understanding of Korean content and the skill to edit it in a way that captures engaging sections, ensuring it holds the attention of an international audience. We are seeking individuals who can identify and articulate the elements that make videos engaging.

- Analytical Thinking: Ability to think smart and logically.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required, with at least basic knowledge of Korean. While subtitles may be provided, understanding Korean is essential as all client content is in Korean.
- Remote Work Environment: Must have a home office setup suitable for video editing and remote work.
- Responsibility and Communication: Approach tasks with responsibility and maintain ongoing communication about work progress and completion.

Qualifications:

- Experience in planning viral video content.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
- Creative thinking and the talent to generate unique and engaging video ideas.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Capability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize content performance.

- Proactive Problem-Solving: Actively seeks to identify and address challenges, offering innovative solutions.
- Adaptability and Learning: Demonstrates a willingness to learn and incorporate the latest technologies and tools, including AI, to improve work efficiency.

This role is an intern and probationary position, giving you the chance to prove yourself and potentially be promoted to a full-time employee with salary discussions. After gaining sufficient experience in the role and within the company, we can offer various opportunities, such as becoming a manager of the planning team, transitioning to a video editor, social media content creator, or marketer, based on your willingness and primary competencies.
